Barry DeBois is a Singer/Actor/Puppeteer from North East Ohio. His formative years were spent at Pleasant View School for the Arts where he studied Drama for 5 years. He received a Music Specialization and an Art Specialization after studying Classical, Pop, Vocal Jazz, Musical Theatre, Music Theory and various forms of choral music for 4 years in high school. He also received a Vocal Excellence Scholarship. Barry went on to be a member of the prestigious Kent State Chorale. He has performed in various theatres around North East Ohio, and was the recipient of the North Canton Playhouse’s 2007 Best Vocal Performance Award. He has sung regularly at his church since he was very young. From 2004 to 2006, Barry fronted the indie rock band Monophonic Mass. He has performed with national acts ranging from Veruca Salt to Kenny Rogers. Since 2007, Barry has also been an entertainer in the professional musical dinner theatre, Canton Cabaret.
